Investigations Unit The Investigations Unit is responsible for the investigation of adult and juvenile criminal and quasi-criminal offenses not cleared by initial responding officers of the Patrol Division. Additionally, officers assigned to the Investigations Unit work on many of the Department's special units such as performing evidence technician work, juvenile officers, and other highly trained and specialized positions. Detectives are responsible for working with a number of outside law enforcement agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigations, State Police, County Sheriff and other specialized investigative units.
